SILVER SPRING, MD, March 4, 2019 — Mercaris, a market data and auctions startup that is helping to grow organic and non-GMO agriculture in the U.S., is pleased to announce that its director of sales, Alex Heilman, will speak on the five session panel — “Building Bridges Between Farmers and Brands” — at the 2019 Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California on Thursday, March 7, 2019. Heilman will join five other market experts in the second session “Infrastructure to Meet Brand and Producer Supply Needs” as they discuss collaborative solutions for a regenerative food system.
“As consumers continue to evolve, our supply system needs to keep up with demands,” said Alex Heilman, director of sales at Mercaris. “I look forward to presenting alongside some of the industry’s most knowledgeable specialists, helping the natural market uncover a successful framework for the future of farming, manufacturing and beyond.”
Bringing together the natural, organic and healthy products industry, Natural Products Expo West explores trends and new solutions to help meet the needs of today’s fast-changing market. From understanding ingredients, packaging, marketing, distribution, advocacy and retail trends, the expo offers educational sessions to help drive profitability and sustainability for the future of natural products.
The educational five-session panel, “Building Bridges Between Farmers and Brands,” will aim to deconstruct today’s supply system that no longer meets consumer demands or supports the producers who are supplying food. Experts will outline new solutions to help both farmers and manufacturers interact, partner and collaborate to help create a better food system. Attendees are welcome to attend the full five-session panel or single sessions.
Where: Anaheim Convention Center, Marriot Room, Grand Ballroom F
When: Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 1 – 3:30 p.m.
