SILVER SPRING, MD, February 12, 2019 — Mercaris, a market data and auctions startup helping to grow organic and non-GMO agriculture in the U.S., will attend and speak at the MOSES Organic Farming Conference in La Crosse, Wisconsin, from February 21 – 23, 2019. Jessie Bovay, director of business development at Mercaris, will join Carmen Fernholz of OFARM and CJ Eisler of Pipeline Foods as a panelist at the conference’s Field Crop workshop — Organic Grain Marketing. Covering the marketing landscape for organic producers, the session will offer guidance when looking for reliable buyers, trustworthy representation in the marketplace and tools for robust price discovery.

Hosted by the Midwest Organic & Sustainable Education Service (MOSES) for its 30th year, the three-day event will house over 3,500 participants, 60 workshops and 170 industry vendors, bringing together the strongest network of U.S. organic and sustainable farming peers from around the country. Participants will gain practical ideas to improve their farms, discover new resources and further connect with their community.
